Biography

With over 35 years in the industry and over 16 years in the Resilience domains, I am a Certified International and Corporate Trainer with over 10000 hours of training/ teaching experience. In my professional journey (with corporates like TCS, Xansa, Continuity & Resilience, Cityinnovates), I have played various senior/ executive roles like Principal Consultant, Group Head, Practice Head, COO, CIO, VP, Board Member etc. I have travelled/ worked to/in over 20 countries. I am a speaker, and author – second book ‘My Experiments with BCM’ was released in Nov 2021 and is available across globe. I have served clients in various industry sectors like Government, IT, Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Telecom, Marine, Manufacturing, Pharma, Power, Media, Trading etc. On my journey, I have won multiple national and global awards including ILAs’ Global Outstanding Leadership Award 2021, BCI’s C&R Business Continuity Manager of the Year Award India 2009, BCI’s Merit Award Global 2012, BCI’s Continuity & Resilience Contributor Award Middle East 2020 (and Global Finalist), DRII’s Lifetime Achievement Award 2021, 2022 (Finalist), BCI’s Continuity & Resilience Contributor Award Global, India & South Asia 2021. I have also been inducted into BCI Hall of Fame. I spend considerable efforts on my pro-bono work also, in which I am mentoring with IEEE, mentorkart, Camewise etc. I am associated with Bringle as Principal Mentor and Goodwill Ambassador. I am currently a Freelancer International Resilience Trainer & Consultant. I am the Chair of Computer Society Chapter, IEEE Delhi Section, and IEEE Ambassador. I have designed over 40 courses including those for global entities like BCI, BCS, NCEMA etc. Currently I am also working on Mission: Zero UnEmployment through Enhancing Employability of the Youth!
